A little about model calls:

A model call is a way for a photographer to get fresh shots of specific types or scenarios to make sure that their portfolio reflects the work they want to shoot. In some instances it can be a way to practice new skills or approaches.

Or it could be that a particular type of family or demoraphic isn’t properly represented in their recent work.

When you have the opportunity to apply for a model call that I have advertised, you should fill in the form below. You may or may not get selected, depending on how many others apply and how well your details fit my needs!

During the model call, we will be focusing on taking the shots that I need, rather than those that you want (which would  obviously be the case in a paid shoot). Hopefully these two things won’t be too far apart in any case!

You will get digital copies of the images after the shoot. 

You will need to sign a contract before the shoot, with a model release form – allowing me to use the images in any marketing that I choose, for example Social Media, my website, in competitions or flyers. I would always respect requests for a particular photo not to be used, for example if it was of a very personal nature.

It’s a great way for you to get a free photoshoot, and it’s a great way for me to fill gaps in my portfolio – win win!
