So, you need a headshot photographer – but why choose to work with me?

To get a great headshot of you, a photographer needs to know how to guide you to stand or sit, and how to position you in the light, which lens to choose … all to flatter your best bits and detract attention away from anything which you may not like about yourself.

I know all of this, but more important than this is the ability to quickly engage with you to put you at ease and capture your genuine expressions and personality. This is something that’s hard to learn, but luckily it comes quite naturally to me!

My style is quite natural, and while I can (and do) a little bit of retouching on any temporary blemishes, I like to keep it real so that the enhancements are very subtle!

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR HEADSHOT SHOOT

Headshots are the generally the quickest of my shoots, and don’t generally take more than 15 minutes shooting time per person, once everything is set up.

The shoot itself can take place at your premises, if space allows – or at a local outdoor location which I will help to choose.

I have some plain backgrounds which I can set up if needed, and if space allows.

The time will depend on the amount of different shot set ups you need, how many people need to be photographed, and whether I need to set up lights or backgrounds.
